Using Digital Technology to Engineer Adolescent Health

Please join the Department of Psychology on Monday, Jan. 13, as we welcome special guest Christopher Cushing, Ph.D., for a lecture on “Using Digital Technology to Engineer Adolescent Health.” This event is free and open to the UTulsa community.

Quantum Computing with Dr. Brown

Kenneth Brown, Ph.D., distinguished professor at Duke University, will give a virtual talk on Quantum Computing-what it is, what it isn’t, its applications, and his research. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A Session, followed by break-out groups led by The University of Tulsa students to discuss Quantum Algorithms, Quantum Circuits, and the intersection of Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence. Undergraduates, Graduates, and Faculty are all welcome!

Event organized by Software Engineering Club at TU (SECTU), Society of Physics Students (SPS), AI/ML Club, and the Undergraduate Research Association (URA).

12th Grade Next Steps Symposium

The 12th Grade Next Steps Symposium consists of the following components: High school students hear from a panel of pre-med students who discuss their experiences in making the transition from high school to college. The panel session is immediately followed by a Q&A session with the panelists. At this event, students also learn tips for preparing college admission essays and have an opportunity to begin drafting their essays through our interactive breakout session led by University of Tulsa writing specialists. In addition to receiving a campus tour from the admissions team to conclude the day.

Collins College of Business Graduate Business Student Orientation

The Collins College of Business will welcome the newest cohort of graduate business students. Students will have the opportunity to hear from CCB deans. MBA Director, Toby Joplin will give incoming students tips and hacks to maximize their experience at TU. Incoming students will have an opportunity to ask questions of our panel of current masters students. Students will also have an opportunity to meet other graduate faculty. Attendees should expect a fast-paced, fun, & informative event with food and fun.
