2023 Law Hooding Ceremony

Graduation is a key part of your story. Celebrate your accomplishments and appreciate the memories you’ve made at TU!

The University of Tulsa will host an in-person hooding ceremony for graduating College of Law students on May 5, 2023, at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Law students will convene at 4 p.m., and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5 p.m. Family and friends will want to be in their seats prior to this time. A reception will follow at the College of Law.

No registration required for guests. Students and guests are welcome to park in any unattended lot on campus on a first-come, first-served basis. A limited number of ADA and VIP parking spaces are available in the Lorton Village Apartment Lot and the Reynolds Center Lot. Review a map of campus.

Nowruz

Every Campus A Refuge (ECAR) and the TU-Afghan Cultural Exchange will host their first Nowruz celebration. Nowruz, meaning “new day,” is an ancient festival rooted in the Zoroastrian tradition celebrated throughout the Middle East and Central Asia and in diasporic communities across the globe. TU students, faculty and staff are invited for an evening of cultural discussions and food as we celebrate the New Year, welcome spring and honor the cultural diversity of Afghanistan. Colorful attire is encouraged but not required.

Pi Day

TU students, faculty and staff are invited to join the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in celebrating Pi Day with Elote tacos and pie!

Yo, dawg. Mom said we could have band practice in the garage after I finish my homework, bring your axe and let’s jaaaaammmmmm!!! Bring any and all rhythm-associated games for the most epic of jam sessions!

Psychology Club: At The Movies

TU students are invited to walk the red carpet in pajamas, take photos at the photo booth and enjoy three films during Psychology Club’s free Movie Night. Complimentary nachos, popcorn and hotdogs will be available, as well as drinks. It will be a night you don’t want to miss!

Psychology Club invites TU students to create Valentine’s boxes and cards to share with other students. Spread the love!

BIPOC Peer Support Group

Join CAPS and ABC for drop-in group open to students who would like to connect with peers concerning their unique individual experiences. This is a safe space to offer support for diverse student voices.
