Earth Day with Psychology Club

UTulsa students are invited to spend Earth Day with Psychology Club! We will be talking about the environment’s impact on mental health and playing Jeopardy (winners get a free T-shirt)! There will be ice cream and a create-your-own Dirt & Worms station. We hope to see you there!!

Holi

South Asian Student Association invites UTulsa students and employees to a Holi festival. Holi is the festival of colors widely celebrated in Hinduism as a coming of spring. This event will include the throwing of colors, snacks, games, and other activities on Dietler Commons.

WGS Essay Contest Entries Due

Did you write a great essay on women, gender, and/or sexuality during 2024? We’d love to read it! WGS announces our annual essay contest. We have three categories:
1. An essay written for WS 2013 – Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies
2. An essay written for any 3000- or 4000-level course at TU.
3. An essay written for any graduate-level course at TU.

Cash prizes are awarded!

Lacey Award for Mentoring Excellence Nominations Due

Have you had a great mentor while at TU? If so, help us celebrate them! Nominate them for the Linda J. Lacey Award in Mentoring Excellence, sponsored by the Women’s and Gender Studies Program.

Tandoori Tailgate – AASA & SASA

This General Body Meeting is a collab between the Asian American Student Association (AASA) and the South Asian Student Association (SASA). It will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Commons (New U). We will have food, such as tandoori chicken, and a vegetable option will also be available. Activities include raffle prizes, spice sets, and outdoor games. Bring a blanket for this picnic-style event!
