The Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute (OCII) at The University of Tulsa is hosting the Tulsa in‑person location for the April InfraGard Oklahoma Monthly Member Meeting.
InfraGard Oklahoma convenes public‑ and private‑sector professionals to strengthen information sharing, resilience and collaboration across critical infrastructure sectors. This month’s meeting will feature a presentation by Ian Anderson, director of enterprise security, network & monitoring at OG&E, focused on adversary emulation, Iranian ICS activity and the case for persistent defense.
The meeting will be held as a hybrid event, with in‑person participation at the Gradient Innovation Hub in downtown Tulsa and additional locations across the state. OCII is pleased to support InfraGard Oklahoma’s mission by providing space and coordination at the Tulsa site.

The Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute (OCII) at The University of Tulsa hosts select InfraGard Oklahoma meetings at the Gradient Innovation Hub in support of InfraGard’s mission to foster collaboration, information sharing and resilience across critical infrastructure sectors. While InfraGard Oklahoma develops and delivers the meeting program, OCII provides space and local coordination to help connect the academic, public, and private‑sector cybersecurity communities in Tulsa.
Mark Maynard, OCII Cyber Range Director, will host an open house for UTulsa students. This is an opportunity to see the Cyber Range’s capabilities.
UTulsa cyber fellows are invited to engage with Trevor Wiseman, Fractional VP Technology and AI Governance, at The Circuit, where he helps organizations navigate AI governance, cybersecurity and technology leadership challenges.

Hosted in Glenpool, OK – BSides Oklahoma is a free information security conference focused on practical, hands-on training for improving security. Each BSides is a community-driven framework for building events for and by information security community members.
This is the premier security conference for the state of Oklahoma, pulling speakers from around the country and attendees from several surrounding states. BSidesOK is completely non-profit and volunteer-driven.
The Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute (OCII) partners with BSides to teach students and adult attendees about cybersecurity education and cyber risk assessments to enable Oklahoma’s cyber workforce. BSidesOK will be held at the Glenpool Conference Center in Glenpool, OK – just southwest of Tulsa.
UTulsa Cyber Fellows are invited to engage with Crys Davis, Manager, NHQ Client Care Data and Compliance, American Red Cross. Davis has an extensive background in cyber and fraud and is an engaging speaker. Davis will be covering the issues of digital disappearing.

UTulsa Cyber Fellows are invited to engage with Chris Wright, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at The University of Tulsa. Chris is passionate about helping UTulsa and the Tulsa region become leaders in entrepreneurship and venture development by providing founders better access to education, resources and capital. He is a co-founder and investor in multiple Tulsa-based tech companies, including Reliant and Medefy Health.
Chris enjoys working within the Tulsa community on various non-profit and service boards and currently serves as Chair-Elect of the Board for Street School. He has served as President of the Tulsa Area Human Resources Association (TAHRA) and Chair of the OKHR State Conference. He is also actively involved in the entrepreneurial community in Tulsa where he served as the Advisory Board Chair for The Forge incubator, was named a Techstars All-Star mentor and is a venture advisor for 46VC and Hurricane Ventures.
He is an Applied Assistant Professor in the Collins College of Business (CCB) at The University of Tulsa, teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in entrepreneurship, marketing, leadership, human resource management, and I/O psychology.

Sky Summit: Drone Detection & Innovation Demo
Hosted by the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute (OCII), this event in 219 Helmerich Hall will feature a live demonstration of the Gargoyle drone detection system in a real-world environment and highlight Oklahoma’s leadership in secure drone innovation.
Event highlights:
- Live deployment of the Gargoyle drone detection system
- Engagement with academic and research leaders in cybersecurity and engineering
- Networking with fed/state/local government, tribal and industry representatives
