UTulsa students are invited to join the Department of Psychology in welcoming Kapil Dev Regmi, founder of Pragya Gunja School and Don Bosco College in Kathmandu Nepal. Mr. Regmi will talk about the educational system in Nepal and the challenges they face. He will also share opportunities for teaching and service internships in Kathmandu. Students can teach in a school for a semester or year and receive room, board, and airfare. Mr. Regmi is president of Engineers Without Borders Nepal, and president elect of EWB International.

Please join the Department of Psychology on Monday, Jan. 13, as we welcome special guest Christopher Cushing, Ph.D., for a lecture on “Using Digital Technology to Engineer Adolescent Health.” This event is free and open to the UTulsa community.
Lunch and Learn with EXSS Club, our speaker is Josh Jackson is from Next Level Athletics, a sports performance training facility in Tulsa. Josh works with a variety of athletes to improve speed, agility and strength through group classes, team training and private lessons. Teams such as RSU Men’s soccer, Jenks Women’s basketball, Booker T Men’s soccer and Blitz Soccer academy train with Next Level Athletics.
The STRETCHED 10th Grade College Excursion provides high school students with an opportunity to learn about becoming a healthcare professional. The students hear from a panel of professionals from a variety of different health-related fields. The students will engage in hands-on learning activities and also learn more about the college admissions process and ways to make college affordable.
The 12th Grade Next Steps Symposium consists of the following components: High school students hear from a panel of pre-med students who discuss their experiences in making the transition from high school to college. The panel session is immediately followed by a Q&A session with the panelists. At this event, students also learn tips for preparing college admission essays and have an opportunity to begin drafting their essays through our interactive breakout session led by University of Tulsa writing specialists. In addition to receiving a campus tour from the admissions team to conclude the day.
