The Moon Festival (also known as Mid-Autumn, Harvest Moon, or Mooncake Festival) is a traditional festival celebrated in China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and other East and Southeast Asian countries. This holiday honors the full moon, which symbolizes prosperity, unity, fortune, and fertility. TU’s Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) and Asian American Student Association (AASA) will celebrate the Moon Festival on Friday, Oct. 11, with free food, performances, activities, sparklers, and more!
