CAPS Drop-In Connection Group: BIPOC Peer Support

This support group is focused on providing a welcoming and safe space to offer support for diverse student voices. Students will be provided the opportunity to connect and speak concerning their unique individual experiences.

ABC Food Drive

The Association of Black Collegians is collaborating with the National Society of Black Engineers to host a food drive at the DEI office on sorority row. We encourage everyone to donate! The first five students to donate will receive a gift card. All donations will be going to the TU True Blue Pantry. Acceptable donations include any pre-packaged non-perishable grocery item.

A Conversation with The Oklahoma Autism Network

Student Access is excited to host the Oklahoma Autism Network (OAN) to discuss neurodiversity and the Autism Spectrum as it relates to the academic world. OAN will be training faculty, staff and students on best practices in the classroom, in offices and in campus spaces that support our students on the Spectrum.

There are three opportunities to attend this conversation in person. To attend virtually via Teams, please email Abby Boehning at abby-boehning@utulsa.edu.

Law Alumni Awards Luncheon at the OBA Annual Meeting

The University of Tulsa College of Law Alumni Association will host a lunch and awards ceremony for all TU Law alumni during the Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA) annual meeting. The alumni association honors outstanding junior and senior alumni, and the OBA recognizes outstanding TU Law students. The meeting will be held at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.

Keynote speaker will be TU Law Alumna, Julie Carson (JD ’97), deputy director at U.S. Department of Defense Advisory Committee on Sexual Assault in the Armed Forces and Military Justice Review Panel.

2022 Honorees include John Dale (JD ’03), chairman and chief executive officer, GableGotwals, and Mbilike Mwafulirwa (LFM ’10, JD ’12), attorney, Brewster and De Angelis.
