TU students: Meet the people behind one of the nation’s top arts districts and experience exclusive pre-opening access to Tulsa’s popular First Friday Art Crawl. Join us for a walking tour led by Arts Alliance Tulsa Executive Director Todd Cunningham and witness the Tulsa Arts District prepare for the thousands of attendees anticipated for October’s First Friday Art Crawl. We’ll learn about the district’s history and hear from a variety of organizations, including a rare opportunity to hear from staff of the Tulsa Ballet moments before their performers take the Guthrie Green stage!

Jill Donovan, motivational speaker, author and entrepreneur, will discuss the importance of getting things done in a lecture titled “It’s In the Doing.” Donovan will speak from noon to 1 p.m. in Helmerich Hall Auditorium. A reception will follow the presentation from 1 to 2 p.m.
