The University of Tulsa Chamber Orchestra will perform with Ron Pearson, TU organ professor and director of music ministries at First Presbyterian Church in downtown Tulsa, in the First Presbyterian Sanctuary. The performance, part of the Ron Pearson 50th annual Organ Concert, will feature the Organ Concerto No. 2 in G Minor by Josef Rheinberger. […]
David B. Waters Trust artists-in-residence from the Tulsa Symphony Gina Davis and Jennifer Sherman, violins; Jeff Cowen, viola; Kari Caldwell, cello; and Marc Facci, bass, will be presenting a recital drawn from the string quintet repertoire. The event is free and open to the public.

The University of Tulsa Symphony Orchestra begins its 2023-2024 concert season with a performance celebrating the beginning of Homecoming Week. The concert will feature the suite from Pelléas and Mélisande by Gabriel Fauré, the overture to “The Wasps” by Vaughan Williams and music by Glinka and Copland that TU Professor Richard Wagner will conduct.
