The Junior Golden Hurricane camp is designed to expose campers entering K-7th grades to the core elements of the game of basketball. The Golden Hurricane staff and players use daily station work, contests, and gameplay to assist in teaching the game to campers.
120 new and returning Pathway students will meet to go over guidelines and expectations, a variety of training sessions, and meet with direct supervisors and fellow pathway students.
TU freshmen are invited to lead the Golden Hurricane onto the field during the home opener of Tulsa vs Northwestern State. Make your first game unforgettable! Check-in between 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. behind section 102 (student section), please bring your TU ID and tennis shoes.
Football, margs & fun! Join the Golden Hurricane team for the first football game of the season. Tailgating starts at 4 p.m., Buffet Beach Band performs at 5 p.m., Team runout and Freshman storm the field at 7 p.m. Free Hawaiian shirts, leis, and $2 margaritas.
