Zine Workshop – Using Open Access Materials

For decades zines have been a communication and advocacy tool for underground movements and artists, as well as a format to freely share ideologies. During International Open Access Week, McFarlin wants to show you how using open access and public domain images and texts can help bolster your creative storytelling and information sharing with zines!

Please stop by this workshop to hear a presentation on zines from Professor M. Wright at 2 p.m., and then you can use library materials (or bring your own) to start making a zine! Open access week encourages you to own your own knowledge and share it with people.
