Youth Sports Safety Festival

FreeAttention all parents, coaches, and the Tulsa community! TU’s Oxley College of Health & Natural Sciences‘ Concussion Center is hosting a free Youth Sports Safety Festival at McCullough Park that’s not to be missed.
This festival is all about promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for children participating in sports. You’ll learn fundamental safety practices, such as how to properly use equipment and the importance of protective gear, we recommend bringing bikes, scooters, skateboards, or other things to ride. Certified health care professionals will be on hand to offer valuable insights and answer any questions you may have about sports-related injuries.
But that’s not all! You can also engage in various hands-on activities and games, interact with community partners, and take part in professional skateboarding demonstrations. Plus, you’ll have the chance to win a free helmet and other giveaways.
So, what are you waiting for? Join us at the festival, and prioritize the well-being of young athletes. With engaging activities, educational resources, and a commitment to creating a safe sporting environment, there’s no better way to spend an afternoon.
