We Here: An Exhibition by the J’Parle’ Artist Group
August 2-September 28
FreeThe Oklahoma Center for the Humanities is proud to present the visual arts component of the Pärlā Creative Festival. The theme of the exhibit is “We Here!” and it features prominent local BIPOC artists.
This eight-day festival, which starts in September, champions Black creativity and serves as a placemaking event, featuring dance, theater, film festivals, culinary arts, wellness activities, and more. It highlights Tulsa’s diverse artistic talents, promoting community engagement and cultural awareness. The festival supports health equity by providing platforms for BIPOC artists and fostering inclusive spaces that encourage community interaction and cultural enrichment.
“We Here” runs through September 28. The galleries at 101 Archer are open Wednesdays through Saturdays from noon until 5 p.m. As always, admission is free.
