TU Theatre Union – Spring Musical

Join TU Theatre Union for their first ever musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Tickets are $5 for general admission to the public. If you are a UTulsa student or faculty member, all you will need is to show your UTulsa ID, and you will have free admission on the day of the show. This heartfelt musical comedy follows an eclectic group of six tweens who compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Fifteen spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box.
