TU and Tulsa community Join Gilcrease at Circle Cinema for a screening of Diego Huerta’s Tehuana documentary, which explores the matriarchal society of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca and the customs and beliefs of the Tehuana women. Attendees will watch the film, learn about Miguel Covarrubias’ Tehuana Woman, enjoy a complimentary taco dinner, and will be able to shop for gifts from Hilo de Amor. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased via Circle Cinema (circlecinema.org).

This program is for adults, 18+. Capacity is limited and tickets are required. Tickets are $11 for members, $13 for non-members. Please register by Friday, February 23.
