Adults 30 to 59: Join Our Heart Health Study (compensation is available)

September 22-December 15

Faculty from The University of Tulsa and research personnel from Ascension St. John are collaborating on a project funded by the American Heart Association to learn more about adult heart health. Check out the study details and eligibility criteria outlined below. What will you be asked to do?
Allow the research team to use routine health information from your record while keeping your privacy safe.
Answer questions about your daily routines.
Choose to wear a small device on your thigh to record body movement and body position (Not required to be in the study).

Eligibility:
Adults aged 30 to 59 years living in Tulsa County, or an adjacent county (Osage, Pawnee, Creek, Okmulgee, Muskogee, Wagoner, Rogers, or Washington).
Must have completed a cholesterol test and a blood pressure check at Ascension St. John hospital, office or urgent care within the past year.
Never been told you have a heart disease, like a heart attack, heart failure, or blocked arteries.

Compensation (up to $50 in Amazon gift cards):
$40 for completing the questionnaires + $10 for completing the optional monitoring protocol.
