He is a national security correspondent for The New York Times, working on three Pulitzer Prize-winning teams. Sanger is a frequent guest on Face the Nation, PBS and CNN and is one of their most valued geopolitical contributors, examining how cyber warfare influences elections, threatens national security and brings us to the brink of global war. Early in his career, Sanger covered technology and economics before turning to foreign policy, focusing on China, North Korea and Japan. Sanger was the executive producer for the documentary based on his bestselling book The Perfect Weapon. He teaches national security policy at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
