Open Submissions for Stylus Student Journal of Art and Writing

For the 26th edition of “Stylus Journal of Art & Writing,” we encourage writers and artists to consider the place of “tradition” in their lives and works.
What are the ways in which we engage with tradition? What do we draw from it, and does it draw anything from us? What do we ask of it, and does it ask anything of us? Consider its valences. Might tradition mean different things to different people? Is it possible to remove oneself or one’s work from tradition completely?
Writing submissions are due Monday, Oct. 19. Visual art submissions are due Monday, Nov. 30.
