Oklahoma Woman Quartet

Join composer Anjelica Lindsey (Cherokee Nation) and the University of Tulsa’s Hurricane Quartet at 101 Archer for an intimate evening of performance and discussion. The program features selections from OKLAHOMA WOMAN QUARTET, songs for string quartet and voice composed and orchestrated by Lindsey.

This is a rare opportunity to experience these works live and hear directly from the composer about her creative process. Blending classical form, and personal history, Lindsey invites audiences into both the sound and story of her work. The evening includes live performance and conversation, offering insight into how music can preserve memory, break through stereotypes and reimagine tradition
