National Friends of the Library Week

October 20-26 is National Friends of the Library Week! What are “friends of the library?” Friends are library supporters who give financial and volunteer support to help their libraries with the events, special purchases and most importantly, engage with their communities.

In Spring 2025, the McFarlin Tower Guild was established to support the Library’s wide-ranging programs and services, complementing the existing McFarlin Fellows group. Open to families, alumni and community members, the Guild offers a meaningful way to stay connected to UTulsa and contribute to the Library’s ongoing legacy.
