Celebrate and honor the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.
Monday-Friday: Keep your eyes on TU’s social media accounts for the MLK fact of the day and remember them for Friday’s Trivia Night.
Monday, Jan. 18
- 11 a.m.: Tune in to KTUL Channel 8 to watch the Tulsa MLK Day Parade
- 12:30-2:30 p.m.: Drive-through pick-up for employees’ sweatshirts in front of Collins Hall (first come, first served)
- All day: Support a Black-owned business in Tulsa’s Greenwood District
Tuesday, Jan. 19
- 12:30-2:30 p.m.: Student sweatshirt pick-up at Hurricane Plaza and McFarlin Library west steps (first come, first served)
- 12:30-2:30 p.m.: Grab-and-go goodie bags at the Student Union, first floor (first come, first served)
- 7 p.m.: Watch Selma or I am Not Your Negro on your favorite streaming service
Wednesday, Jan. 20
- 8-10 a.m., 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-4 p.m.: Community service (Sign up here.)
- 12-2:30 p.m.: Student sweatshirt pick-up at Hurricane Plaza and McFarlin Library west steps (first come, first served)
Thursday, Jan. 21
- 4:30-6 p.m.: “Walk in my Shoes” come-and-go activity at the Student Union, second floor
- All day: Support a Black-owned business in Tulsa
Friday, Jan. 22
