Hulings Distinguished Lecture Series: Promise and Pitfalls of Electric Vehicles for a Sustainable Transportation Future
November 12, 3:30 pm-5:00 pm

Electric vehicles (EVs) are transforming transportation through greater efficiency, reliability and sustainability. However, this transition also introduces new engineering challenges. Special guest speaker Ali Erdemir, NAE (University Distinguished Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Haliburton Chair in Engineering, J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering, Texas A&M University), will explore the thermal, electrical and tribological issues that affect EV performance and reliability, and share innovative material and engineering solutions shaping the future of durable and efficient electric mobility.
