Hogue 125 Inspired: Oklahoma Landscapes

The University of Tulsa is excited to celebrate what would have been the 125th birthday of artist Alexandre Hogue, former head of TU’s Department of Art and namesake of the Alexandre Hogue Gallery located in Phillips Hall.
Hogue 125 Inspired: Oklahoma Landscapes opens Jan. 19 and demonstrates the artist’s legacy and continued impact on the art world. Featured works were selected by curatorial practice and programming graduate students after a call for entries in fall 2022. A speech and special prize will be awarded by Hogue’s daughter Olivia Hogue Mariño – an artist, educator and scholar in her own right – during the birthday celebration on Feb. 22.
The exhibition may be viewed in the Alexandre Hogue Gallery, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
