History Club and Lambda Alpha Present: Mysteries of the Emerald Isle

St. Patrick’s Day is arguably March’s most popular holiday. But do you know who St. Patrick actually was or why we celebrate him? If you are curious, or even if you just like free food, this event is for you! A joint event between the History Club and Lambda Alpha, this event promises a short talk by history professor Dr. Bauer about the history of St. Patrick, St. Patrick’s Day, and folk tales from Ireland. Then, representatives from Lambda Alpha will give a short yet very interesting presentation about anthropological findings relating to St. Patrick’s Day. FREE FOOD WILL BE PROVIDED!!
