Paul Coury is the visionary founder and chief executive officer of Coury Hospitality, a dynamic lifestyle and luxury hotel management company known for redefining the guest experience through design, culture and personalized service. With over three decades of entrepreneurial leadership, Paul has built a legacy of transforming underutilized real estate into thriving destinations.

A Tulsa native and proud graduate of The University of Tulsa, Paul began his career in banking before launching his own real estate company in 1986. Guided by instinct, creativity and an eye for opportunity, he quickly earned a reputation for revitalizing overlooked properties, including the acquisition of a downtown Tulsa office building and the historic Mayo Hotel.

In 1999, Paul opened the Ambassador Hotel in Tulsa—his first hotel and the flagship property that ignited the evolution of Coury Hospitality. What began as a single boutique hotel has grown into a full-service lifestyle and luxury management company, now operating 43 hotels, 64 restaurants and outlets and nearly 3,700 curators across fourteen states. While Coury Hospitality has expanded nationally, Paul has also led more than 25 distinctive Tulsa-based developments over the years, including Tudor Flats, Brook Towne and The Grottos at Grand Lake.

Under Paul’s leadership, Coury Hospitality has become synonymous with thoughtful design, genuine service and placemaking at its finest.
