Deep Greenwood Community Read – Greenwood Reawakened: Live at the Big 10 Ballroom

Note: This event takes place at Big 10 Ballroom.

A look back at what day-to-day life (and nightlife) was like in Greenwood and in its second heyday – the music, the entrepreneurship, and the rhythms that many people alive today still remember. This event will feature older Greenwood natives, and be followed by a live show with a setlist of songs that were played at the venue in the 1950s.

This event is part of the “Deep Greenwood: A Built From the Fire Community Book Club” series. Attendees are encouraged to read chapters 9-15 of the book before attending, but it is not required.
