Cyber Fellows Speaker Series – Nathan Singleton

Cyber Fellows will engage with Nathan Singleton, CISO, The University of Tulsa. Nathan will cover reviewing and assessing risk in the organization, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) – what to watch for, and how internal and external partnerships can make or break a company.
Nathan Singleton is a cybersecurity leader with over fifteen years of experience in building and leading cyber, OT, and physical security programs for global corporations.
With a background in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service, where he served as an Electronic Surveillance Measures Supervisor, Nathan transitioned to civilian roles, where he served in leadership positions at the U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration, Helmerich & Payne (H&P), where he served as CISO and Director of IT Governance and Response, and CyberOne where he served as the Director, Pre-Sales Engineering and Field CISO. Currently, as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the University of Tulsa, Nathan oversees the university’s security initiatives, including the development and implementation of multi-year information security strategies aligned with industry standards.
Nathan holds a Master and Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Tulsa. He is committed to staying current with the latest cybersecurity developments and trends to create a safer digital environment. Outside of work, Nathan is actively involved in advisory boards and community initiatives focused on cybersecurity education and innovation. He is passionate about leveraging his expertise to create a safer and more secure digital environment for individuals and organizations alike.
The Cyber Fellows Speaker Series is open to Cyber Fellows, related faculty, and our external partners. The speaker series allows the Cyber Fellows to have deep conversations with cyber industry professionals, venture capitalists, founders, and entrepreneurs.
