UTulsa Cyber Fellows are invited to engage with Chris Anthony, enterprise cybersecurity advisor at Cyderes, specializing in identity and access management (IAM), managed detection and response (MDR) and security operations. Based in northwest Arkansas, Chris focuses on advisory-led sales, helping enterprise organizations modernize their defense architecture, unify fragmented risk data and build resilient security programs.
Operationalizing Identity in the Modern SOC: Turning Fragmented Data into Coordinated Action In today’s threat landscape, security teams don’t just suffer from a lack of information—in fact, they suffer from a lack of context. When threat actors successfully compromise credentials or hide malware within trusted environments, a disconnected view of risk leaves defenders flat-footed. This interactive session explores how modern enterprises are shifting away from siloed security tools to operationalize identity directly within the Security Operations Center (SOC). We will discuss the critical convergence of identity, asset, access and exposure data, and look at how unifying this context allows teams to prioritize vulnerabilities that actually matter, increase friction for attackers and move closer to a state of continuous validation.
