The Center for Energy Studies at The University of Tulsa invites all high school students to dive into the exciting world of energy, engineering, and innovation at Camp Energy 2025!
☀️ Hands-on Activities Include:
✓ Solar Car Build & Race Showdown – Design, build, and race solar-powered speed machines.
✓ Wind Turbine Design-Off – Construct and compete for the most power output.
✓ Hydrogen Fuel Cell Lab – Create hydrogen fuel cells to power mini-devices.
✓ Getting Power to the People – Learn the economics of delivering electricity to your home and the truth of what gets it there!
✓ Trading Spaces – Play the role of a natural gas producer, midstream gas marketer, and electricity maker and see how much money you can earn your company by trading commodities.
✓ Energy Professional Field Trip – See how and why scientists apply chemistry to refining crude oil. Then watch traders at Williams manage gas pipelines across the country and thwart terrorists and natural disasters.
