|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every month that begins at 2:00 pm on day 5 of the month, repeating until April 2, 2021
Beadwork is a fun and culturally significant activity for indigenous people. Each first Friday during the spring semester, Lexie Tafoya will feature different beadwork projects.
This session can be watched and enjoyed by anyone, but making beadwork with indigenous patterns is a practice exclusive to indigenous people.
For people who wish to participate or learn how to bead in general, you will be required to bring your own supplies. These supplies include size B beading thread, size 11 beading needle, scissors, size 11 seed beads, beading foundation and felt.
