Boxcar / El Vagon: Staged Reading Excerpt & Panel Talkback

Join us as we partner with the Department of Theatre and Musical Theatre, Telatúlsa and Dream Action Oklahoma (DAOK)–Tulsa for a staged reading excerpt of the play Boxcar/El Vagon – a timely immigration story of hope and disaster as five men risk it all for a better life in the United States. Following the reading, cast members will join Amairani Perez Chamu, executive director of DAOK–Tulsa, for a discussion of the myths and realities of immigration. Baked goods and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. Masks are strongly encouraged.
