BLACK-&-WHITE MEMORY: THE HOLOCAUST THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHS

May 9, 2024, 12:00 pm-1:30 pm

Thanks to the Council for Holocaust Education of the Jewish Federation of Tulsa, The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art and the Tulsa City-Country Library, we are excited to have Danny M. Cohen, this year’s Community Holocaust Commemoration speaker, at the TU campus on May 9. All are welcome to attend.

Cohen will showcase a collection of historical photographs to understand the victim-rescuer-perpetrator paradigm better. We will also explore common misconceptions and misframings of Holocaust memory and discover the surprising connection between Holocaust history and pop culture today.

Lunch will be provided by TITAN. We kindly request that you RSVP, which is important for meal planning.
