Cathy Gates is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and has more than 30 years of experience serving public and privately-held clients throughout the Southwest Region in the retail/consumer products, transportation, manufacturing and contract drilling industries. She had oversight responsibility for more than 100 professionals in her eight years as the Tulsa office managing partner at EY. Gates is a CPA in Oklahoma and Arkansas and a member of the AICPA and the Oklahoma Society of CPAs. She was honored with the Sam M. Walton College of Business Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022 for her success in business and service to the college. Gates currently serves on the Sam M. Walton College of Business Dean’s Executive Advisory Board; Tulsa Area United Way Board of Directors where she chairs the Governance Committee; the Board of Directors of Tempur-Sealy International where she sits on the Audit Committee; and on the OGE Energy Corporation Board of Directors.
