America Made Europe… Can It Break It?
September 15, 2:00 pm-3:30 pm

What if you were told that ancient, venerable Europe—the font of so many political and cultural ideas—was in fact in its present form the creation of successive American regimes from WW II on?
What if next you were told a new American regime despises American Europe and wants to reshape its civilization?
That’s quite a story and Glyn Morgan, Ph.D.—Director of the Center for European Studies at the Maxwell School of Citizenship & Public Affairs at Syracuse University—is here to tell it based on his new book The Rise and Fall of American Europe, 2026.
Professor Morgan’s talk will be held in the McFarlin Faculty Study starting at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15th.
This talk is open to the entire campus community – we invite all who are interested to attend.
