AIML@TU pop quiz: What is AI?

– (A) An irrational financial bubble (bigger than .com and the global housing crisis of ’08 combined) fueled by the greed of a circular and self-congratulatory cabal of malevolent tech bros

– (B) The culmination of decades of theoretical and technological innovations that heralds the dawn of a new age of prosperity, health, leisure, and equity

– (C) A destructive technology that’s wasting resources, polluting the planet, exploiting the powerless, stealing art, killing jobs, filling the world with slop, and distracting us from our real lives and real problems

– (D) The next of many phases in the evolution of life and consciousness in the universe

– (E) None of the above / all of the above and more

However you view artificial intelligence, AIML@TU is a student-driven community at The University of Tulsa where your voice is welcome and valued. Now in our fourth semester as a registered student organization, we meet every other week to foster discourse, collaboration, research and connection across disciplines and perspectives – from students and faculty on campus, and from academia and industry at large.

We invite you to join us at our upcoming meeting, and we look forward to your presence and contributions.

Lunch provided – click to RSVP and help us plan.
