101 Unplugged: Debussy & Borodin
October 3, 7:30 pm-9:00 pm
Experience an evening of color, elegance and expressive music at the first 101 Unplugged concert of the season, presented by The Ron Predl Chamber Series. Debussy’s Sonata for flute, viola and harp opens the program with shimmering textures and delicate interplay between the instruments. Caplet’s Conte Fantastique blends harp, string quartet and narrator for a haunting, theatrical performance full of dramatic flair. The program concludes with Borodin’s richly melodic String Quartet No. 2 in D major, celebrated for its warmth and romantic character. Guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary drink and light hors d’oeuvres, and a brief Q&A with the musicians during intermission.
