TU Wind Ensemble/Symphonic Winds Concert

The University of Tulsa Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Winds will present their final concert of the year on Monday evening April 16th at 7:30 PM in the Lorton Performance Center’s Gussman Concert Hall on the campus of the University of Tulsa.  The Wind Ensemble, conducted by Richard Wagner and Andrew Anderson will be performing “Overture for Debbi” by TU composer Joseph Rivers to honor the memory of TU graduate and Tulsa musician Mark Watson.  The concert will also include Four Scottish Dances by Malcolm Arnold, Elsa’s Procession to the Cathedral by Richard Wagner and music by Paul Dukas.

The Symphonic Winds, conducted by Andrew Anderson and L. Dale Barnett, will feature the “Second Suite in F” by Gustav Holst and works by Aram Khachaturian and Clifton Williams.
