Beyond the Headlines: A Conversation about Immigration with Ali Noorani

What really drives America’s ongoing immigration debate?

To answer this question, Ali Noorani, the National Immigration Forum’s Executive Director, interviewed leaders across the nation. Noorani found voices in faith, law enforcement and business communities to paint a nuanced picture of America that looks beyond the blaring headlines to understand how communities are confronting the changing nature of the American identity.

In this lecture, Noorani will discuss the powerful role of culture and values in America’s immigration debate, and how a diverse range of communities are working to make America a welcoming place for long-established citizens and new arrivals alike.

Free and open to all.
