Special activities from noon to 4:00 pm, with free admission all day.

January Theme: After Removal: Rebuilding the Cherokee Nation

Creative Learning Center, 12-4 pm
Create story stones that can be used for storytelling at the museum and at home.

Vista Room, 12-4 pm
Make two types of books that you can fill with your own stories.

Gallery 18, 1:30-2:30 pm
Watch an artist demonstration by Arigon Starr, creator of the “Super Indian” comic and Tulsa Artist Fellow.

Helmerich Hall, 12-1:15 & 2:45-4 pm
Informally talk with Arigon Starr, creator of the “Super Indian” comic and Tulsa Artist Fellow, and have her sign your books.

Exhibition After Removal: Rebuilding the Cherokee Nation, 12-4 pm
Explore the exhibition with help from docents in the gallery and SmArtCards provided by the museum.

Kravis Discovery Center, 12-4 pm
Hear stories about Native cultures and freely explore this open storage center with tablets.
